Features
- Compared to the conventional semi-automatic biopsy needle STARCUT, it offers improved operability and better tissue collection performance.
- A penetration length of 11mm or 22mm can be selected depending on the procedure. The selected penetration length can also be visually confirmed through the window of the main unit.
- Each gauge is equipped with color coding compliant with ISO standards. The difference between four gauge types can be easily distinguished.
- The STARCUTⅡ includes spacer for the guide needle. Spacer can be used to adjust the length of the guide needle to fit the 11mm penetration length.
- The semi-automatic biopsy needle is lightweight, weighing approximately 18g (for the 18G x 160mm model), making it easy to handle even in narrow spaces such as those encountered during CT-guided procedures.
- We offer a wide range of sizes to suit different biopsy sites. Additionally, the outer needle features depth markers: a single line every 10mm and a double line every 50mm, allowing visual confirmation of the puncture depth.
